Field trip to Winterton Dunes

Yesterday my ecology class went to the Winterton Dunes on our second field trip. I cannot describe to you how windy it was on that day, but I’ll try; the winds were so strong that we had difficulties standing straight and not falling over, and it was sooo cold. I definitely need a pair of gloves and warm clothing for future trips such as this one. However, it was still really fun, because being in the outdoors (whatever the weather and place) is always more fun than in a boring lecture theatre. After the field trip we were so cold and hungry that me and my friends asked the teacher if we could stop by a fish and chips shop for something to eat, which he agreed to quite instantly! The whole class were really pleased about this, and the chips were well deserved. Last night my flatmates and I went out to Lola Lo’s and it was hmm… interesting.
