Wow. My home is beautiful! In the last couple of days Eidi and I have been sporty and gone up a couple of mountains ! Firstly another walk up Ulriken, in stunning weather, where I obviously took a million photos on the top! What do you think of my “panorama” underneath that I made from putting three photos together!
Today we went on a new walk that we hadn’t been on before. I was invited by Eidi’s family to go grilling in Hausdalen, a beautiful area not far from my house, and after having a couple of grilled sausages we started off walking inwards in the valley. It was so beautiful of untouched nature and peaceful surroundings. We ended up going onwards for 4.5 km to the “redningshytte” 600 meters over the sea. This cabin was actually a surprise, as we had no idea what was at the end of the valley, and suddenly we were on this cabin on Gullfjellet (the biggest mountain in Bergen). It was a pleasant walk, with a steady elevation. We stopped a lot, and the whole walk took about 4 hours!
A lot of photos guys! I just couldn’t help myself, it was just so scenic and beautiful! We couldn’t hear a single soul, just birds and the running water from the stream we followed the way up! Definitely a great discovery! Oh and how cool is this? I found out you can map your route on norgeskart.no and get a nifty little graph of the trip!
