Palmitos Park

On one of the days we went to Palmitos Park where which you can probably guess I went mental with my camera! The park was really nicely set up with lots of shaded paths, big and shaded enclosures for the animals and a spectacular Dolphinarium and show! Several of the enclosures where built for visitors to have an up close and personal visit with the animals, and also giving the animals more freedom and space to move around (and fly). I loved this! Bars and barriers and so hostile and cold. The dolphin show staring five bottlenose dolphins was absolutely amazing, and it is just incredible what those animals can do! They are so acrobatic and intelligent! You could tell that the dolphins themselves were enjoying it, getting lots of attention, treats and time to play! The species bottlenose dolphins are quite common at animal parks, as they more easily cope with life in captivity!
