Swaziland part 8

On one of the days we got to choose between several activities and I chose to go on a drive to the neighbouring reserve called Mlawula with Jeff, Steph, Bryony, Sam and Conrad. It was actually at this reserve I thought I was going to do my project, but turned out I had misunderstood. This reserve was owned by the Swaziland National Trust Commission and had different conservation policies, approaches and funding. It was interesting to compare it to Mbuluzi where we were staying. This reserve seem to have less birds and more ungulates. The condition of the park looked as good as Mbuluzi, but the species composition was slightly different. We saw so much on that day it was ridiculous, including kudu, impala, warthog, zebra, monkeys, wildebeest, raptor, hornbill, and insects! The park was fairly empty and spacious, which was lovely!
