Last week I went home for a couple of days to do some errands, including buying some propper shoes for work and some black trousers. It was lovely to see Mum and Peter again, even though it had only been a couple of days since I last saw my family. The drive home seemed to go incredibly quick, it’s just about the perfect durable distance between Eidfjord and Bergen that allows for an occasional visit, although it’s still a very expensive route with several tolls. Apart from that work is going good. I am still learning new things everyday, but I am also becoming more relaxed and less anxious about the various tasks. I have also been getting to know my coworkers more, who are all incredibly lovely.
On Tuesday some of my coworkers, Saara, Victoria and May went on a little trip after work to see Vøringsfossen, to familiarise ourselves a little more with the area that we describe to the tourists and to just do something nice together. We parked the car down by the cafe and walked up via the steep cliffs (and kept a good distance from the edge, Mom :P) to Fossli hotel where we got a spectacular view of the roaring waterfall. Around the waterfall I could see house martins diving and swooping in and out from their nests perched on the rock faces.
